Summer rain,

Melbourne 2011, Victoria, Fitzroy Gardens

Song of the moment: 心有独中 - 陳曉東

It's the 1st of a new month. I said a silent prayer as the bells chimed at twelve when I was queuing up for a toasted honey baked ham sandwich @ Good News cafe in engineering - but alas, I suffered a severe attack of gastric/indigestion which warranted a visit to the doctor just the next day. Nonetheless, it was probably a timely reminder for me to regulate proper meals (amidst juggling work and play) The upcoming week and the next promises to be really fun, please let my health hold up.

I love the autumn blend of the deciduous vegetation in this picture, and me looking unknowingly lost when my sister snapped the shot (hello to my current situation). Tons on my do to list, minor enough to make a huge molehill. I love making lists, maybe that's why my bucket list grows exponentially every week haha

1. Get rid of nail polish (what a fashion sin)
2. Tutorial readings
3. Potluck dish
4. Find a way to protect my watch screen from more scratches
5. Send CV to Sharon
6. Buy film
7. Replace my pearl earrings! :<
8. Catch up on readings
9. Reciprocate kindness
10. Declutter my work place for some productivity

Apple π of my eye,

Sudden creative urge to break free from the clinical feel of my Mac one evening, with some pretty leftover flower prints + white tape, who said decals had to be unaffordable?

Still nursing my cold after spending the past few days fused to the bed, flu medicine from the doctor working it's charm and I'm extremely grateful for that! And thanks for all the get-well-soon wishes, so much love ♥ Despite that, I'm currently still grappling to unbury myself from the mountain of backlog I've accumulated in the past few weeks I daresay (Look at the mess on my desk). Nonetheless I assure you that I'm okay and shall scuttle off to my tissue pile and pill box, both of which have been loyal companions for the past 48 hours. Along with hot green tea, of course.

The opposite of stressed is desserts.

Since I'm home all alone with a painful tummy and barely able to get out of the house, here I am in an attempt to revive this piece of virtual land I somewhat own.
Or perhaps it is an attempt to appease myself from tucking away this nearly neglected corner of my life.
Being unwell is such a chore :(
I'm craving for Crystal Jade la mian xiao long bao.

The past weeks or rather should I say months have been filled with my own fair share of downs and ups, but most importantly timely reminders from Him on life paths and priorities, which we will eventually have to juggle full-time.
But along with the arduous task of keeping at the balls of my feet on my 8-6 routine everyday, little joys like weekends well spent with my boy + filling up my schedules with all the love from my colleages and friends and girlfriends on the weekdays to the brim. (Up to the point I sometimes exhaust myself from Mon-Fri)
Attending launch invitations and served fine dining has been an experience, but not to be blinded by it to forget the amount of hard work put into each assignment and project that scrolls along.
Scholarship and university applications/assessments are nearly coming to an end, I dare hope.
And I'm looking forward to the day getaways next week, following Russell's POP two days ago.

Pictures galore, most on facebook though.
